Why "Papermaven"?
Our History
Benjamin H. Craine (pictured right) founded B. H. Craine Company, Inc. in 1982 and quickly became a leader in the wholesale paper industry. Introduced to the paper business and mentored by his father-in-law, Marshall Miller, founder of Midwest Paper, both were mavens of the paper industry in their time. Papermavens, if you will. Since taking the reins in 2022, and after 25 years in the industry, I, Joey Craine (center), am now myself a budding papermaven as well. Digby (left) has no official role in the company, but has deep love for papermavens.... and pretty much everyone else.
